San Francisco engagement session of Amy and Race
We are thrilled to have been part of Amy and Race’s San Francisco engagement session! Because they reside in San Francisco, they wanted to have their engagement photographs in their city, at the iconic spots it provides. Race runs an online marketing firm that uses Google Ads and other related sites, while Amy is a school teacher. We will also be part of their wedding in June this year, which will take place in the gorgeous Santa Barbara, California! Let’s get started with their engagement in San Francisco, the beautiful focus of today’s blog.
San Francisco’s most picturesque sites for engagement photos are incredibly creative and definitely lovely. We started Amy and Race’s session at their first house together, a site that had special significance to both of them. The place sparked so many memories for the couple, and we were able to translate their emotions into some amazing images! It’s hard to imagine a better way to get some very unique San Francisco engagement photos. Following, Amy and Race’s engagement in San Francisco took a genuine turn reflecting the city’s architecture as they went down one of the city’s numerous steep streets. Being on the highest points of the streets, we had a sense of being on top of the world!
During Amy and Race’s San Francisco engagement session, we also made a stop at Crissy Field. The beach, lush greenery, picturesque fisherman’s pier, and, of course, the Golden Gate Bridge – all combine to provide the ideal setting for an engagement. The pair were having fun at the beach, which provided us with the perfect opportunity to take some romantic and playful photos.
During the photography shoot in Andy Goldsworthy’s Wood Line, the couple’s love seemed greater than the tallest trees in the area, as they found delight in the surrounding landscape. The grounds of the Legion of Honor served as the ideal backdrop for Amy and Race’s next stop. We were transported to another world by the museum’s stunning architecture, complete with ornate detailing and soaring columns. In addition, it also provided us with a clean backdrop that puts the couple’s story in primary focus.
No engagement in San Francisco would be complete if it did not include one very unique spot – Sutro Baths. Amy and Race had a good idea of what they wanted. Beautiful trees, historic structures, stunning water reflections, and a nice beach. Amy and Race’s session finished at Marshall’s Beach. It provided a peaceful respite from the bustle of nearby San Francisco. The pair strolled hand in hand on the seashore, marking the start of their new life adventure. The distinctive landscape with huge, black boulders makes this a must-see destination in San Francisco because of the spectacular vistas of the Golden Gate Bridge it provides.
