Without a doubt, it has become an easy favorite photo location for us as Santa Barbara wedding photographers. And its romantic and intimate ambiance made it the perfect venue for Amy and Race’s special day. 

The couple’s wedding photos at Belmond El Encanto Santa Barbara were breathtaking, and it is no wonder since Amy and Race are such a sweet and stunning couple. Apart from this, their venue matched their personalities. They had the perfect mixture of authentic elegance and glamour, the same as the Belmond El Encanto Santa Barbara wedding venue. Amy and Race’s wedding celebration had a natural yet luxurious look.

As Santa Barbara wedding photographers, we love capturing the couple getting ready on the morning of their big day. Seeing the authentic excitement and happiness on everyone’s faces during these moments while they helped the bride and groom prepare for their ceremony was precious. We loved how Amy and her bridesmaids wore matching silk sleepwear – it was a sweet experience for all of them. Apart from this, we took portraits of them in the exceptional garden of Belmond El Canto – this was easy since they were staying at the hotel. For us, the natural backdrop of this venue is perfect for an exclusive first-look moment.

They had their outdoor ceremony at the Belmond El Canto’s Arbor and Lily Pond event space. It was a serene area with a fairytale-like pathway since it was in the middle of a lily pond. Their aisle’s calming water feature gave their ceremony a dreamy effect. This unique space is also famous to Belmond El Encanto wedding photographers, thanks to the wisteria-lined walkways and panoramic views, which make for some iconic shots.

Furthermore, the sunset in this place is remarkable. California has the most beautiful sundowns, and this couple was lucky enough to experience one on their special day. We felt like the sunset lasted for two hours! This was the ideal opportunity for us as Santa Barbara wedding photographers to give their images a majestic appearance. And we easily achieved that as Amy and Race danced with a phenomenal orange-colored sky in the background.

Lastly, their reception had a sleek, sophisticated, and refined theme. Everyone had so much fun celebrating the union of this lovely couple in such a captivating venue. Also, their wedding planner did an amazing job providing a seamless experience to everyone; we have to say, working with Armando of Alegria by design was wonderful. Agape films did the video for Belmond El Encanto wedding of A+R. Photographing this couple was a joy, especially with such an excellent planner on hand to help us.
