Jessica and Stephen’s Red Rock Canyon engagement in Nevada

The timeless beauty of the Red Rock Canyon is indeed so attractive that it was no wonder that the couple was determined to have their photos taken in this place. And as devoted photographers whose mission it is to realize everything that our newly engaged couples dream of, we happily obliged – and the result was awe-inspiring.

The engagement session lasted for two hours. Despite the cold weather and the fact that snow started to fall at the end of our session, Jessica and Stephen didn’t let anything stop them from making the most of this time, which allowed us to capture the couple’s love, notwithstanding the weather. The couple’s engagement photos at Red Rock Canyon were truly elegant and authentic. Their choice of engagement attire and the grace of their movements together reflected their beauty as a duo, which helped to make our shoot exquisite: every single shot was magical.

Besides having more time to create some of the couple’s portraits during their engagement session (helpful since time can be limited on your wedding day), we got to know how to best reflect their unique personalities in every of their light and airy engagement photos. Jessica and Stephen really showed us how they interacted together as a couple – comfortable in each other’s love. We were enchanted to witness how they gazed softly at one another with smiles filled with love which inspired us even more. Not only that, but they also used these Red Rock Canyon engagement photos in their invitation design and had them printed and displayed at their wedding reception. It was wonderful to see our portrayal appreciated in this way.

As it turned out, it was even better that Jessica and Stephen opted for a colder season to have their Red Rock Canyon engagement session since summer can be too hot and too dry – not to mention the prevalence of wildlife around in the warmer months. It looked almost surreal. In order to achieve light and airy engagement photos, it’s best to avoid the heat. Furthermore, the Red Rock Canyon offers an authentic elegance. It really creates effortlessly sophisticated photos that ensnare all the special memories, as well as being conveniently located near to the bright lights of Las Vegas.

The park offers very unique rock formations that are spectacular for the engagement photo session backdrop. The park also offers a lot of hiking trails and wild nature that is very unique for Las Vegas, a great escape from the city. Be aware when you are planning to go to the park that it gets very hot during the summer. It can get up to 115 degrees, so plan in advance your shoot accordingly.
