As Waldorf Astoria wedding photographers we fell in love with how exquisite Ashley and Shah’s wedding was. It was still traditional but with a more ethereal and classic ambiance than their Mehndi ceremony.

Traditional Baraat

It was a delight to capture Ashley and Shah’s Pakistani wedding in Waldorf Astoria. At this classy venue, the couple could blend a modern touch into a traditional ceremony in the most elegant way. The traditional Barat was extraordinary – Shah had a grand entrance as he rode a horse adorned in shimmering red and gold caparison. It was quite an entrance with live music and lots of dancing. 

Baraat is a part of the groom’s cultural heritage, where it is customary for him to wear a traditional outfit and sit on a ceremonial horse while his guests lead the way dancing. It usually starts at the entrance of the building or venue, up to the main banquet hall. The baraat is one of the main events for traditional Pakistani Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas wedding photographers love to capture, and we were glad to be able to document every moment of it. They were both extraordinarily stunning for their exquisite wedding at Waldorf Astoria, and we couldn’t help but fall in love with the intricate features of their outfits. 

Ashley wore a luxurious lehenga in red with an elaborate golden design. The bride looked extravagant from every angle, and the camera loved her, as seen in every shot we’ve taken. On the other hand, the groom had a lavish cream Sherwani with gold and silver details. Shah’s traditional headgear was designed with gems and a ruby at the center to match his lovely wife-to-be.
