Downtown Los Angeles Engagement Session at the Broad Museum and Walt Disney Concert Hall

Words cannot describe how incredible Nadia and Aric’s Los Angeles engagement session was. We were so delighted to take photos of such a gorgeous couple. Their authentic elegance shone even brighter as we went from one iconic Downtown Los Angeles engagement spot to another. This experience definitely showed us the best of what LA has to offer.

Before their very chic and charismatic Los Angeles engagement session, we held a day of taking photos at Kestrel Park. This 100-acre property has a beautiful countryside setting that feels as if you stepped back in time to the 19th century. We wanted a shoot tailored to portray their personalities, so we planned two days with them. Two utterly different themes, yet both centered on the couple’s love. The first day gravitated towards nature and century-old style country houses as a backdrop, while the following day had a modern city look. 

Bringing focus on their engagement photos in Downtown LA, we find it very pleasant to have so many options in this location. It offers the convenience of having so much to choose from. Not to mention how most signature areas for a shoot are so amazing in this city, and the Broad engagement session is one of them. This museum has an open garden and trees with an expansive city view. More so, the remarkable architectural design of this museum will be perfect for your wide-angle photos with unique architecture. 

We also recommend having Walt Disney Concert Hall engagement photos. This urban architecture is a favorite of most engaged couples because it is so stunning. Besides the unique concert hall, the areas outside would make an excellent spot for a shoot. Plus, the building has a luxurious staircase and lovely reflective mirrored parts. 

Furthermore, it’s only a short walk up to one of the charming secret gardens of downtown Los Angeles – the Disney Hall Blue Ribbon Garden. This rooftop garden is a gem for most because it is versatile. It provides a gracious outdoor venue for engagement photos in downtown LA or for your wedding portraits. Because of this, we see how it can be a romantic location, especially at night.
