A Jonathan Club Los Angeles wedding asks a couple to meet a century of architecture on its own terms, and Michelle and Connor did exactly that. They married in the Florentine Lounge, under leather and gold ceilings and cobalt crystal chandeliers, and danced until late in the Main Dining Room beneath its heavy Italian beams. Michelle shaped nearly every element of the design herself, and the confidence of it carried the whole day: a garden palette of coral, fuchsia, cobalt, and deep red set against blush stationery, navy velvet, and black tie. There was a first look in the empty ceremony room before the doors opened, a walk down the aisle on her mother’s arm, and a first dance with her grandfather that stopped the room cold. Hilary Hamer Weddings and Events ran the day with the kind of precision you only notice by its absence.
